AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026: All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi has released the notification for Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 11. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 24 July 2026 to 13 August 2026.

*Name of Post: Nursing Officer.

*Pay Level: Rs. 9,300 to 34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600.

*Group: Group B.

*Posting: AIIMS New Delhi and other participating AIIMS institutes across India, as per vacancies reported by each institute.

Eligibility Criteria | AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment

Educational Qualification (any one of the following):

• B.Sc (Hons) Nursing or B.Sc Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council recognized institute or university, along with registration as Nurse and Midwife with State or Indian Nursing Council.
• B.Sc (Post Certificate) or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institute, along with registration as Nurse and Midwife.
• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized institute or board, registration as Nurse and Midwife, and two years of experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds after completing the qualification.

Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as on 13.08.2026.

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years

Selection Procedure of AIIMS NORCET 11 2026

The selection process has two stages.

Stage 1: NORCET Prelims

• 90 minutes, 100 questions of 100 marks, with negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer.
• This stage is only used to shortlist candidates for Stage 2 and does not count toward the final merit list.
• Qualifying percentile: 50 for UR/EWS, 45 for OBC, 40 for SC/ST, with 5 percentile relaxation for PwBD candidates.

Stage 2: NORCET Mains

• 180 minutes, 160 questions of 160 marks, with negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer.
• The final merit list is prepared from Stage 2 marks only.
• Qualifying marks: 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST, with 5% relaxation for PwBD candidates.
