CCRUM Recruitment 2026: The Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), New Delhi has released a recruitment notification for various Group A, Group B and Group C posts. CCRUM is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. Online applications can be submitted by eligible candidates from 1st July 2026 to 31st July 2026. CCRUM Recruitment 2026 | Eligibility Criteria

*Age Limit: Age limit is different for each post. It ranges from 18 years to 40 years. Please read the vacancy detail tables above.

*Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is given as per Government of India rules for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and other categories. The maximum age limit after combining all relaxations cannot be more than 56 years.

*Educational Qualification:

1. Research Officer (Unani)

• MD or MS in Unani System of Medicine from a University recognized by NCISM (formerly known as CCIM).
• Enrolment on the Central Registrar of NCISM/CCIM or State Register of Unani/ISM.

2. Research Officer (Pathology)

• MD in Pathology from an MCI recognized University or Institution.
• Enrolment on the Central Register of MCI or State Register of Medical Council.

3. Research Officer (Physiology)

• Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Human Genetics or Genetics Engineering from a recognized University.
• 3 years experience after obtaining Master’s Degree, or Ph.D in the same subject.

4. Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacology)

• M.Sc in Pharmacology or M.V.Sc Degree from a recognized University or Institution.

5. Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacognosy/Botany)

• Master’s Degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized University or Institution.
• 3 years Research or Teaching experience after obtaining Master’s Degree, or Ph.D in the concerned discipline.

6. Research Assistant (Chemistry)

• Post Graduate degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized University or Institution.

7. Investigator (Statistics)

• Master’s Degree in Statistics, or Mathematics with Statistics as one of the subjects, from a recognized University or Institution.
• 3 years experience in statistical work involving collection, compilation and interpretation of statistical data, preferably in medical and health statistics, or Ph.D in Statistics.

8. Accounts Officer (HQs)

• Degree from a recognized University or Institution.
• 3 years experience in Cash, Accounts and Budget work in a Government Office, PSU, Autonomous Body or Statutory Body.

9. Staff Nurse

• B.Sc (Hons) in Nursing from a recognized University, or Regular Course in B.Sc Nursing, or Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing.
• Registration as a Nurse or Nurse and Midwife with State Nursing Council.
• One year experience in a hospital of minimum fifty beds.

10. Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
• 2 years relevant experience.

11. Library & Information Assistant

• Degree in Library Science from a recognized Institution or University.

12. Proof Reader

• Degree from a recognized University.
• Diploma in Books Publishing, Printing Technology or Marketing of one year duration.
• 3 years experience.

13. Hindi Assistant

• Degree from a recognized University.
• Adequate knowledge of Hindi equal to the Hindi standard B.A examination of an Indian University.
• Ability to translate from English to Hindi and vice versa, as evidenced by a test.

14. Pharmacist

• Higher Secondary with science from a recognized Board or Institution.
• Two years Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution.
• Registration with the State or Central Pharmacy Council.

15. Social Worker

• Degree from a recognized University.
• Diploma in Social Work from a recognized University or Institution along with one year experience, or Master’s Degree in Sociology.

16. Radiographer

• Higher Secondary with science subjects from a recognized Board or Institution.
• Two years Diploma or Certificate in Radiography from a recognized Institution.
• One year experience in Radiography from a recognized Hospital or Medical Institute.

17. Compounder

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
• Certificate of training as Compounder in Unani System of Medicine of minimum one year duration.
• 2 years experience preferably in a Dispensary or Hospital of Unani System of Medicine.

18. Stenographer Grade-III

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
• Ability to write Shorthand at speed of 80 words per minute and typewriting at 40 words per minute.

19. Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Degree from a recognized university.

20. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

• Higher Secondary or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
• Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.

21. Staff Car Driver

• Pass in Matriculation (10th Standard) from a recognized Board or Institution.
• Valid driving license for Motor Cars/LMV.
• 3 years experience of driving a motor car.

22. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

• Matriculation or equivalent pass, or ITI pass in relevant subject.

Selection Procedure | CCRUM Recruitment 2026

For Group A posts in CCRUM Recruitment 2026, selection will be done through online Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by an Interview. The CBT carries 70 marks and the Interview carries 30 marks.

For Group B and Group C posts, selection will be based only on the online CBT examination of 100 marks. Skill test will also be conducted for some posts wherever needed.

The CBT for CCRUM Recruitment 2026 will have questions in both English and Hindi. There will be 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer. However, there is no negative marking for the post of MTS.
