SBI PO Recruitment 2026 | Eligibility Criteria

*Name of Post: Probationary Officer.

• Age Limit: 21-30 Years as on 01.04.2026.

• Age Relaxation:
  • OBC: 3 Years.
  • SC/ST: 5 Years.
  • PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 Years.
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 Years.
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 Years.
  • Ex-servicemen: 5 Years.

• Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30.09.2026.

Selection Procedure | SBI PO Recruitment 2026

The selection procedure for SBI PO Recruitment 2026 is a three-phase process.

Phase I (Prelims)

Phase II (Mains)

1. Objective Test

2. Descriptive Paper:
   • Communication Skills: Emails, Reports, Situation Analysis & Precis Writing.
   • Total Questions: 3.
   • Total Marks: 50.
   • Duration: 30 Mins.

Phase III

Phase III Comprise of Psychometric Test, Group discussion, and Personal Interview. The group discussion will carry 20 marks, and the personal interview will carry 30 marks.
