NFSU Recruitment 2026: The National Forensic Sciences University, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, which has campuses in multiple cities including Guwahati, Gandhinagar, Delhi, and Goa, has recently released a recruitment notification for 51 Non-teaching positions including Section Officer, Deputy Section Officer, and Assistant. 1. Section Officer

• No. of Vacancies: 12.
• Category-wise vacancy: UR-04, ST-01, SC-01, OBC-04, EWS-02.
• Pay Scale: Rs. 47,600-1,51,100 per month.

2. Deputy Section Officer

• No. of Vacancies: 14.
• Category-wise vacancy: UR-06, ST-01, SC-01, OBC-04, EWS-02.
• Pay Scale: Rs. 44,900-1,42,400 per month.

3. Assistant

• No. of Vacancies: 25.
• Category-wise Vacancies: UR-10, ST-02, SC-03, OBC-07, EWS-03.
• Pay Scale: Rs. 19,900-63,200 per month.

NFSU Recruitment 2026 | Eligibility Criteria

1. Section Officer 

• Age Limit: Not less than 21 years and not more than 40 years as on 23.03.2026. (Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen candidates as per GoI rules)

• Educational Qualification
  • Must Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a University recognized under the UGC Act, 1956.
  • Must have obtained at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) at the Bachelor’s degree level OR must have obtained the Bachelor’s degree in the first attempt itself.

2. Deputy Section Officer

• Age Limit: Not less than 21 years and not more than 40 years as on 23.03.2026. (Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules mentioned above.)

• Educational Qualification:
  • Must Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a University recognized under the UGC Act, 1956.
  • Must have obtained at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) at the Bachelor’s degree level OR must have obtained the Bachelor’s degree in the first attempt itself.

3. Assistant

• Age Limit:  Not less than 21 years and not more than 35 years as on 23.03.2026. (Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules mentioned above.)

• Educational Qualification: Must Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a University recognized under the UGC Act, 1956.

***Other Criteria:

*Candidate must be a indian citizen.
*Candidate must have Adequate knowledge of Hindi, English, and Computer proficiency.
