Gauhati University Vacancy 2025 | Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit: The candidate must be 45 years old or older.
2. Qualification: A master’s degree with a minimum of 55%, or the equivalent grade on a seven-point scale. Although Ph.D. is desirable but not mandatory for applying.
3. Experience: Eight years of service at Academic Level 12 and higher, as an Associate Professor, or at least 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor at Academic Level 11 and above, along with background in education administration OR experience working in a research establishment and/or other higher education establishments OR 15 years of experience in administration, including 8 years as a deputy registrar or a position similar to it.

2. Register using mobile, e-mail.
3. A verification mail will be sent to your email id.
4. After verification login with your registered email id and password.
5. Fill up the form by choosing the post you want to apply, personal details, educational details, experience, research.
6. Upload Documents.
7. Fees Payment.
8. Final Submission.
9. Take a Print out of the Filled Application form.

Now Send the Hard copy of the application along with all necessary documents including the proof of submission of application fee and “No Objection Certificate (NOC)”, wherever applicable,
by the last date to “The Member Secretary, Selection Committee for the post of Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-781014, Assam“.
