Gauhati University Recruitment 2025 | Eligibility Criteria
- Principal (University Law College)
- Pay Scale: Rs. 1,44,200 – Rs. 2,’18,200/- Plus Allowances.
- Age Limit: Not below 45 years and not more than 55 years as on 31.03.2025.
- Qualification: LLM, P.hD. in Law.
- Experience: Professor/Associate Professor with a total Experience of fifteen (15) years of teaching/research/administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education. Candidate should have a minimum of 110 Research Score.
- Superintending Engineer
- Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/ – Rs. 1,10,000 + GP Rs.16,900/-
- Age Limit: Not below 45 years and not more than 55 years as on 31.03.2025.
- Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering and serving under Central Government/State Government/ Union Territory Administration.
- Experience: Holding similar posts or experience as a Deputy Engineer/Executive Engineer for 10 years in regular service in recognized institution.
- Information and Statistical Officer
- Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- Rs. 1,10,000/ + GP Rs.13,900/-
- Age Limit: Below 45 Years as on 31.03.2025.
- Qualification: Candidate Must be a 1st Class Master’s degree holder in Statistics/ Mathematics / Data Science / Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: Experience of 2-5 Years in data analysis, research, or statistical reporting within an academic, government or corporate environment. Also Experience in data visualization and report generation using tools like Excel, SPSS, R, Python, SAS, Power BI or similar and Experience in handling university-level statistical data, accreditation reports, or institutional research is an advantage.
- Assistant Librarian
- Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- Rs. 1,10,000/ + GP Rs.13,900/-
- Age Limit: Below 45 Years as on 31.03.2025.
- Qualification: Candidate must hold a Master’s degree in Library Science /Information Science / Documentation or an equivalent professional Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade.
- Experience: Five years of working experience in College/University Library System.
- Assistant Treasurer
- Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- Rs. 1,10,000/ + GP Rs.13,900/-
- Age Limit: Below 45 Years as on 31.03.2025.
- Qualification: Candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in commerce from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the Finance and Accounts department in a responsible post in Govt./Semi-Govt. or Public Institution.
- Assistant Controller of Examination
- Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- Rs. 1,10,000/ + GP Rs.13,900/-
- Age Limit: Below 45 Years as on 31.03.2025.
- Qualification: Candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
- Experience: Two years of experience in examination related work in a responsible post in Govt/Semi Govt. Or Recognized Public Institutions/ Undertakings and candidate must have knowledge of examination management systems and software.
- Assistant Registrar
- Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- Rs. 1,10,000/ + GP Rs.13,900/-
- Age Limit: Below 45 Years as on 31.03.2025.
- Qualification: Candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
- Experience: Two years of administrative experience in a responsible post in Govt/Semi Govt. Or Recognized Public Institutions/ Undertakings.
