Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) recently released a notification for recruitment of 32 Junior Engineers (JE) (Civil) under Fishery Department of Assam Government. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply online on or before 02.06.2025.

• Age Relaxation:
  • OBC/MOBC: 3 Years.
  • SC/ST: 5 Years.
  • PwBD: 10 Years for All category.
  • Ex-servicemen: Upto 42 Years of Age for UR. Further 3 Years for OBC/MOBC and 5 Years for SC/ST.

1. Unreserved: 13 Posts. (04 Posts reserved for women)
2. OBC/MOBC: 09 Posts. (01 Post reserved for women)
3. OBC/MOBC (tea tribe, adivasi): 01 Post.
4. SC: 03 Posts. (01 Post reserved for women)
5. ST-P: 03 Posts. (02 posts reserved for women)
6. ST-H: 03 Posts. (01 post reserved for women)

** Two (02) posts are reserved for PwBD candidates and 01 post is reserved for Ex-servicemen.

Fishery Department Recruitment 2025 | Eligibility Criteria

• Name of Post: Junior Engineer (Civil)
• Age Limit: 18-40 Years. (Age relaxation is applicable)
• Residentship: Must be a permanent resident of Assam. Employment Exchange Registration certificate will be treated as proof of residency or PRC issued in Assam for education purpose.
• Qualification: Candidate must have regular 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Civil Engineering & Planning/ Construction Technology from any technical institute recognized by AICTE.
  Diploma course from Distance mode of education will not be considered.
