Directorate of elementary education (DEE), Assam has recently published two employment notification (advertisement No: E 573006/28 & E 573006/32) regarding recruitment of 4500 Assistant Teachers in UP (Upper Primary) & LP (Lower Primary) Schools. Candidates applying for the posts must be qualified in the ATET or CTET. Eligible candidates may apply online.

Dee Assistant Teacher Recruitment Eligibility Criteria for Upper Primary (UP):

Age Limit	18-40 Years as on 1st January 2025
Qualification	◾ ATET or CTET ◾ Regular Teacher: Higher Secondary with minimum 50% marks or Graduation in any Discipline from any UGC recognized University. Science Teacher: B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University. Hindi Teacher: Graduate with Hindi as one of its Subjects. ◾ Two year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelors in Education (B.Ed).

Note: Candidate must be Permanent resident of Assam

DEE Assistant Teacher Recruitment Eligibility Criteria for Lower Primary (LP):

Age Limit	18-40 Years as on 1st January 2025
Qualification	◾ ATET or CTET ◾ Higher Secondary with minimum 50% marks. ◾ Two year Diploma in Elementary Education ((D.El.Ed)

Note: Candidate must be Permanent resident of Assam

Age Relaxation:

OBC/MOBC: 3 Years
SC/ST: 5 Years
Ex-servicemen: 2 Years
Person with disability (PwD): 10 years

How to Apply for Dee Assistant Teacher 2025:

Visit the Official Portal: Go to the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam’s website at https://dee.assam.gov.in/.
Navigate to the Recruitment Section: On the homepage, locate and click on the “Recruitment” tab or link in the menu.
Access the Notification: You will be redirected to the recruitment page. Find and click on the relevant link “Apply for the Post of Regular Teachers of LP and UP Schools under DEE, Assam against Advt dated 08/01/2025“.
Registration: On the new page, click “Apply for Lower Primary” or “Apply for Upper Primary” after that Click on “Apply Online” to create your applicant profile. Provide your active email ID, mobile number, and other required details to complete registration.

Passport size Photograph.
HSLC Admit Card.
H.S Mark-sheet and certificate
Any other marksheet and certificate of higher education.
D.El.Ed marksheet (Both Years) and certificate.
Caste certificate (In case of SC/ST/OBC/MOBC).
Documents in support of Permanent Resident of Assam.
Candidates with disabilities will have to submit certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. Authority.
Certificate of Ex-Servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.
