CCRAS Recruitment 2025: The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) under Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, has recently released a recruitment notification for 389 Vacancies across Group A, B, and C posts. These include posts such as Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Pharmacist, Research Assistant, and others. Group ‘A’

1. Name of Post: Research Officer (Pathology)

• No. of Vacancy: 01.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 5400/-

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 40 Years.

• Qualification: MD in Pathology from a MCI recognized University /Institution and should be Enrolled on the Central Register of MCI or State Register of Medical Council.

2. Name of Post: Research Officer (Ayurveda).

• No. of Vacancy: 15.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 5400/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 40 Years.

• Qualification: Post graduate Degree (MD/MS) in Ayurveda from any University/ Institution recognized by CCIM and should be Enrolled on the Central Register of CCIM or State Register of Ayurveda/ISM.

Group ‘B’

1. Name of Post: Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacology).

• No. of Vacancy: 04.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+ GP 4600/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 30 Years.

• Qualification: M. Pharm (Pharmacology), M. Pharm (Ay)/M.Sc. (Medicinal Plant) with specialization in pharmacology from a recognised University/ Institution with 1-year post qualification experience.

2. Name of Post: Stuff Nurse.

• No. of Vacancy: 14.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+ GP 4600/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 30 Years.

• Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing; Or Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery recognised by Nursing Council of India with two years experience in a teaching /research hospital and should have Registration with State Nursing Council.

3. Name of Post: Assistant.

• No. of Vacancy: 13.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+ GP 4600/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 30 Years.

• Qualification: A Degree from a recognised University/Institution and Proficiency in Computers.

4. Name of Post: Translator (Hindi Assistant).

• No. of Vacancy: 02.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+ GP 4600/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 30 Years.

• Qualification: Master degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level and Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice-versa or two years’ experience of translation work.

5. Name of Post: Medical Laboratory Technologist.

• No. of Vacancy: 15.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+ GP 4600/-.

• Age Limit: Shoul not exceed 35 years.

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science with 2 years relevant experience.

1. Name of Post: Research Assistant (Chemistry)

• Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+ GP 4200/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 30 years.

• Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry, M Pharm (Ay Quality Control)/ M Sc (Medicinal Plant) with specialization in pharmaceutical analysis from a recognised University/Institution.

2. Name of Post: Research Assistant (Botany).

• Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+ GP 4200/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 30 years.

• Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Botany/ M Sc (Medicinal Plants) from recognized University/ Institution.

3. Name of Post: Research Assistant (Pharmacology).

• Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+ GP 4200/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 30 years.

• Qualification: M Pharm (Pharmacology), M Pharm (Ay)/ M Sc (Medicinal Plant) with specialization in pharmacology from a recognised University/ Institution.

4. Name of Post: Research Assistant (Organic Chemistry).

• Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry from a recognised University/Institution.

5. Name of Post: Research Assistant (Garden).

• No. of Vacancy: 01.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 2800/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 30 years.

• Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Botany/Medicinal Plants (Pharmacognosy) from a recognised University/Institution.

6. Name of Post: Research Assistant (Pharmacy).

• No. of vacancy: 01.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 2800/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 30 years.

• Qualification: M Pharm. (Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Science/Quality Assurance/Ayurveda) from a recognised University/Institution.

7. Name of Post: Stenographer Grade–I.

• No. of Vacancy: 10.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+ GP 4200/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 30 years.

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matric (10th) or equivalent, with a shorthand speed of 120 WPM and typing speed of 40 WPM. Candidate should also have 3 years of experience as a Junior Stenographer in government, semi-government, or reputed private organizations.

8. Name of Post: Statistical Assistant.

• No. of Vacancy: 02.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+ GP 4200/-.

• Age Limit: Shoul not exceed 30 years.

• Qualification: Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematics (with Statistics) OR a Bachelor’s degree with Statistics/Mathematics as a subject, along with 3 years of experience in handling statistical data.

9. Name of Post: Upper Division Clerk (UDC).

• No. of Vacancy: 39.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 2400/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 27 Years.

• Qualification: Candidate must possess a Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

10. Name of Post: Stenographer Grade-II.

• No. of Vacancy: 14 Posts.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 2400/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 27 Years.

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matric (10th) or equivalent, with a shorthand speed of 120 WPM and typing speed of 40 WPM. They should also have experience as a Junior Stenographer in government, semi-government, or reputed private organizations.

11. Name of Post: Lower Division Clerk (LDC).

• No. of Vacancy: 37.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 1900/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 27 Years.

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board/ university. 

12. Name of Post: Pharmacist (Grade-I).

• No. of Vacancy: 12.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 2800/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 27 Years.

• Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy/D. Pharm (Ay.) from recognized university/ institution with two years experience in recognized Ayurvedic hospital or B. Pharm. (Ay.)

13. Name of Post: Multi Tasking Staff (MTS).

• No. of Vacancy: 179.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 1800/-.

• Age Limit: Should not exceed 27 Years.

• Qualification: An ITI certificate in the relevant MTS field, or A vocational training certificate (equivalent to ITI) from a recognized institution, or Class 10 (Matric) pass with 1 year of experience in the relevant MTS field from a recognized.
