BSF Constable Recruitment 2025 | Eligibility Criteria
**Residentship: Candidates can only apply for vacancies in their Domicile state. Candidates need to provide an official domicile certificate as proof of residence issued by the state’s competant authority.
**Age Limit: Applicants should be at least 18 years old and not more than 25 years old as on 25.08.2025.
**Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
**Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) and possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
**Physical Standard: For detailed physical standards (height, weight, chest measurements etc.), please refer to page 8 of the official notification.
** Medical Standards: Minimum Distance Vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 in other eye without wearing glasses or Lenses and must not have Knock-Knee, Flat Foot, Varicose Veins, squint eyes.
Selection Procedure
The BSF Constable Recruitment 2025 selection procedure includes the following stages:
- PST (Physical Standard Test): In this stage height and Chest of the candidate will be measured.
- PET (Physical Efficiency Test): Requires male candidates to complete a 5 km race within 24 minutes, while female candidates must finish a 1.6 km race within 8 minutes and 30 seconds to qualify for the next stage of selection.
- Written Exam.
- Document Verification.
- Trade Test.
- Medical Examination.
