BDL Trainee Recruitment 2025: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a Miniratna Category-I Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released a recruitment notification for 212 Trainee Officer, Engineer and Assistant Posts on contractual basis. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply online on or before 10.08.2025.

The BDL trainee recruitment 2025 jobs are purely temporary. If you get selected, you’ll be hired for 1 year first. After that, the company might extend your job every year for up to 3 more years (making it 4 years total). In some special cases, they may extend it for another 4 years (8 years total), but only if the company needs your service and you’re doing satisfactory work.

   • No. of Vacancies: 100.
   • Salary: Rs. 24,500-29,000/-.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidate’s should not exceed 28 Years as on 10.08.2025.

Age Relaxation:

*OBC-NCL: 3 Years.
*SC/ST: 5 Years.
*PwBD: 10 Years.
*Ex-Servicemen: 5 Years.

Qualification

*Trainee Engineers: Candidate B.E./B.Tech in relevant disciplines (Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science) with 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST/PwBD).

*Trainee Officers:
Finance: CMA/CA or MBA/PG in Finance.
Human Resource: MBA/PG in Human Resource/Personnel Management & Industrial Relations.
Business Development: MBA/PG in Marketing.

*Trainee Diploma Assistant: 3 years Diploma or equivalent course in relevant discipline recognized by State/ Central government and BCA/B.Sc (Computers) for Computer Science posts.

BDL Trainee Recruitment 2025 | Selection Procedure

The Selection procedure for BDL Trainee Recruitment 2025 is simple and follows a set of stages. All applicants will first take a 120-question computer-based test, of which 100 will be related to their particular field (such as mechanical or electronics) and 20 will be general in nature and will cover math, reasoning, and English. You’ll have two hours to complete it. Candidates in the general category need 50% to pass, while those in the SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories need 40%.

If you pass this test, you’ll be called for an interview where they’ll ask about your studies and skills. The interview counts for 15% of your final score, while the written test counts for 85%. After this, they’ll make a final list based on your combined scores. The top scorers get job offers, but first you’ll need to verify your original documents and pass a medical test.
