ASSAC Recruitment 2026: The Assam State Space Application Centre (ASSAC), Bigyan Bhawan, Guwahati, has released an advertisement inviting applications from eligible and interested candidates 3 posts of Accounts Assistant and Junior Field Assistant. These posts are purely on a contractual basis for a period of 6 (six) months. Selection will be made through a Walk-in-Interview. Eligible candidates who are permanent residents of Assam can appear for the interview on the scheduled date.

Eligibility Criteria | ASSAC Recruitment 2026

*Age Limit

Candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2026.

*Educational Qualification

Accounts Assistant: Candidate must be a Graduate in Commerce with Honors in Accountancy from any recognized University or Institution, or equivalent. A PGDCA from any recognized University/Institution is desirable, along with working knowledge of Tally ERP, GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax Return filing, EPF, CPF and similar areas. Candidate should also have a minimum of 1 (one) year of experience in handling accounts related activities, preferably in a Government Department, Autonomous Body, PSU or similar organization.

Junior Field Assistant: Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) with an ITI Certificate in Surveyor Trade or equivalent. Knowledge in mapping, using GPS/GNSS tools, taking field measurements and reading maps, along with walking wetlands and capturing geotags, is desirable.

Junior Field Assistant: Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) with an ITI Certificate in COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant). Knowledge in data entry, operating web portals, and managing spreadsheets along with usage of GIS software is desirable.

Selection Process

Selection for all three posts will be made through a Walk-in-Interview conducted by the Assam State Space Application Centre. Only candidates having the educational qualification, experience and other eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear in the interview.

1. Candidates must submit their application in the Standard Form of Application.
2. A detailed Bio-data/CV may also be enclosed along with the Standard Form.
3. Candidates must bring the duly filled Standard Form of Application, along with self attested photocopies of all certificates, mark sheets, experience certificates and other supporting documents.
4. Candidates must produce the original certificates and documents at the time of the interview for verification.
