RBI Grade B Recruitment 2025: The Reserve Bank of India has recently published a notification for the direct recruitment of Officers in Grade ‘B’ for the General Cadre, the Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR), and the Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM). Eligible and interested candidates can apply online on or before September 30, 2025.

• General Cadre: 83.
• DEPR: 17.
• DSIM: 20.

*Pay Scale: Rs. 78,450-1,41,600.

RBI Grade B Recruitment 2025 | Eligibility Criteria

*Age Limit: 21-30 years as on 01.09.2025.

*Age Relaxation: OBC-3 years, SC/ST-5 years, PwBD-10 years, ex-employee of banking institution-5 years, Ex-servicemen-5 years.

*Educational Qualification:

• General Cadre: Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate, candidates from SC/ST/PwBD categories require a minimum of 50%
  OR
  Post Graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. SC/ST/PwBD candidates only need passing marks.

• DEPR Cadre: Candidate must have a Master’s degree (MA/MSc) in Economics, Finance, or relevant field (such as Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Finance, Business Economics, International Finance, etc.) where the main focus of course was either Economics or Finance. Candidate needs a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate of all semesters or years from a recognized university or institute.

• DSIM Cadre: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or any closely related subject.
  OR
  A four year Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks (or an equivalent grade) in aggregate in one of these same fields is also acceptable.
