IB JIO Recruitment 2025: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) which comes under Ministry of Home Affairs, India, has recently announced a recruitment notification for 394 vacancies for the position of Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) Grade-II/Tech. Eligibility Criteria

*Age Limit: 18-27 Years as on 14.09.2025.

*Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates.

*Qualification: Candidate should have one of the following Educational qualifications as on 14.09.2025:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Electronics or Computer Science or Physics or Mathematics from a Government recognized University/Institute OR

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications from a Government recognized University/Institute OR

• Diploma in Engineering in the fields of: Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication or Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics or Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Applications from a Government recognized University/Institute.

IB JIO Recruitment 2025 | Selection Procedure

The Selection Process for IB JIO Recruitment 2025 consists of the following three stages: Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-III.

*Tier-I (Online Test): The online exam will consist of 100 objective type MCQs. The syllabus is divided into two parts: General Mental Ability (25% of the questions) and a combination of subjects from the essential qualification criteria (75% of the questions). There will be a negative marking of 1/4th mark for each incorrect answer.

*Tier-II (Skill Test): Candidates will be allowed to appear for Tier-II only after qualifying Tier-I. Tier-II will consist of a practical-based and technical Skill Test, relevant to the job profile. This Test will carry 30 marks.

*Tier-III (Interview/Personality Test): This stage carries 20 marks for the evaluation of the candidate’s personality and aptitude.
