Forest Department Vacancy 2025 | Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: 21-38 Years as on 01.01.2025.

• Residentship: Must be a permanent resident of Assam. Employment Exchange Registration certificate will be treated as proof of residency or PRC issued in Assam for education purpose.

• Qualification: Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering with at least in one of the following subjects:
  • Agriculture.
  • Botany.
  • Chemistry.
  • Computer Application/ Computer Science.
  • Engineering (Agriculture/ Chemical/ Civil/ Computer/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical).
  • Environmental Science.
  • Forestry.
  • Geology.
  • Horticulture.
  • Mathematics.
  • Physics.
  • Statistics.
  • Veterinary Science.
  • Zoology.

• Physical Standard
  • Height: GEN/OBC/MOBC/SC Men: 163 cm, Women: 150 cm | ST(H)/ST(P) Men: 152 cm, Women: 145 cm.
  • Chest (Men): 79 cm (normal), 84 cm (expanded).
  • Chest (Women): 74 cm (normal), 79 cm (expanded).
